Birthday party for Jason and Neil

Saturday night saw us celebrate the birthdays of Jason and resident old git Neil in great style. The band Jester played a fine set and there was a lot of so-called dancing going on. The disappointment of Wales losing to Ireland was soon forgotten, washed away on a tide of beer and good food. The Irish contingent of two had a lot to celebrate as well. Cake was consumed and a good time was had by all.

During the evening, yards of ale were attempted by Chris Luff, Muingo Prentice and Jason, with Jason's yard disappearing in a very short space of time to prove himself the undisputed champion of this formidable event.

The accommodation rooms were all full and everyone waved a fond farewell to Tintern after a hearty breakfast on Sunday morning.
