The Rose & Crown, Tintern - The Wye Valley's Warmest Welcome

With the season's weather being so up and down of late, what better time to take a break and catch your breath?
Tintern, a stone's throw from Chepstow, is a beautiful little hamlet that enjoys several pubs, shops an tourist areas
Included in that is a stunning abbey that is worth visiting

Their set of rock classics went down well and we hope that they will come back and play for us again in the future

Even though the weather is going to start getting colder soon, don`t worry because we still have plenty of sunshine to enjoy while this month is with us
The Wye Valley is particularly pleasant this time of year and, as the Rose and Crown is situated right on the River Wye

If you are visiting the Wye Valley, you will find stunning views wherever you go
The outside seating area of the Rose & Crown, Tintern is no exception

This night time picture of the pub was taken by a customer on an evening boat trip here
The lights reflecting on the water make a great sight and there is plenty of good food and drink when you get here

Sally and Jason welcome you to the Rose & Crown. This historic pub is in the heart of Tintern, nestling in the beautiful Wye Valley. Visitors to the pub enjoy a very warm welcome, great food and a tempting selection of drinks served in a traditional pub atmosphere.
The pub is very popular with visitors and regulars alike and there is always lively conversation in the bar. Perhaps it is because of this conducive atmosphere that the Tintern Philosophy Circle chooses the Rose & Crown for its regular meetings.

Plenty to see and do in Tintern and the Wye Valley
There is accommodation available, and Tintern is a great base from which to explore the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean, with easy access to some of the most beautiful scenery around. If you are interested in history too, there is plenty around here to capture the imagination from Tintern's world famous abbey to iron and brass works from the very start of our industrial revolution.
